Fax to Email (Fax2email) is without question the most cost effective and accessible way to receive your faxes. Instead of your incoming faxes going to an office fax machine (where they can be seen by all) they are sent directly to your own personal fax number which then automatically converts the document(s) being sent into a PDF file. This is then sent to your nominated email address where it can be viewed online anywhere in the world at any time.
The benefits are many.
- There are significant savings in terms of both telephone and consumable costs. A standard BT line currently costs £165 per annum. If you have a non geographic number (08) sitting on top of this you could be paying up to another £200 per year. And finally, let’s not forget the consumable costs of paper and ink for your fax machine which could easily be £100 or more (+ the cost of a new fax machine if it finally fails). Total running costs therefore for a stand alone fax number / fax machine can easily top £350 per year.
- With Fax2email you can throw away your fax machine (if you have fax sending software in your computer) or at the very least just use it for outgoing faxes.
- With Fax2email you can receive your faxes anywhere in the world, at anytime, whether it’s on your laptop in a hotel room in New York or a dusty internet café in Caracas.
- With Fax2email you are assured of total confidentiality – since just as with emails, only you (or your designated colleagues) will see incoming faxes. This is ideal for personal correspondence and / or sensitive legal documents. Lawyers and estate agents can happily go on holiday knowing that urgent documents can be faxed to their UK fax number and viewed anywhere in the world.
- The cost of a dedicated Fax2email number is lower than you think – just £6.25 per month for a standard 0844 number or £10 month for a 0845 number (paid 6 monthly). And this will allow you to receive unlimited faxes.
- Low cost to caller. All our current Fax2email numbers are based around the 0844 / 0845 number ranges. This means that the average fax sent during the daytime will cost less than 5p to the caller, and in the evenings can drop to as low as 1p.
